Summer : What’s On in our region

New to the region or just need a reminder of just how lucky we are to live in a region where there is so much to see and do? Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, foodie, or adventure seeker, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s a list of our favourite things this Summer :

  • Margaret River Farmers Markets on Saturday mornings.
  • Take a walk or mountain bike ride along the beautiful Wadandi Track, anywhere between Witchcliffe to Cowaramup.
  • Walk a section of our magnificent Cape to Cape track.
  • Take a picnic to the river at Augusta or enjoy a meal at the Colour Patch Cafe.
  • Lunch at the Berry Farm is a favourite for young families.
  • Margaret River Bowls club – barefoot bowls during Summer Thursday to Saturday 5 to 8pm with Dahl Daddy’s Indian food to accompany the fun!
  • Explore the beaches; why not head down the road to our local Redgate beach. Or for sunset and dinner at one of the local food trucks head to Surfers Point in Prevelly.
  • Fun with the kids; Supa Golf up in Metricup, Mini golf and explore the gardens / Maze at Amaze’n.
  • Whats on @ The Heart over summer
  • Cape Mentelle outdoor movies

Of course there is lots to do in our small town of Witchcliffe, especially as it grows and more businesses open and expand as has happened over the last year.

Not far down the road you can find Mr Barval winery – Sunset Pizza van & wine Friday to Sunday over Summer.

Here in Witchy the new Vintners Wine Bar has their Summer Sundays happening.

The new Borrello’s winery cellar door is promising events over Summer.

Yardbyrd is still a good place for a breakfast in their garden setting or grab a smoothie or juice on a hot day.

The old historical Darnell’s General store now houses several businesses –

  • Amato Vino cellar door is a perfect spot for a little cheese board with a wine tasting and you can head next door for a spot of shopping whilst you are there.
  • Witchy Brews, nestled in between, has morning coffee, sweet treats, brekkie wraps and snacks.
