Cluster 3A and 3B lot titles imminent

The patience of lot buyers in Cluster 3A and 3B will soon be rewarded. We are still expecting lot titles to be issued by Landgate at the end of December, possibly early January. Settlement is typically scheduled for 21 days after that. We look forward to “officially” welcoming 38 new households (currently) into the Ecovillage community in the new year. As I write, we still have seven lots available for sale in Clusters 3A and 3B.

When will Stages 4-5 be released?

Wormall Civil is progressing well on the civil works of Stages 4 and 5, which includes constructing roads, drainage and installing services. The focus is on completing Stage 4 first, followed by Stage 5. The civil program is scheduled to be completed by mid-2022.

The sales team is still working towards a March pre-sales release of residential lots in Cluster 4A and 4B, which will offer a range of price points across the two clusters. The Short Stay / Residential lots in 4D overlooking the western portion of the central dam (see the Master Plan) will also be available for reservation at this time. Short Stay lots in 4C will not be for sale.

Commercial lots inch closer to sale

We have just completed draft versions of the Commercial Precinct Local Development Plans (LDPs) and Commercial Precinct Building Design Guidelines (BDGs) and have issued them to the AMR Shire for review and comment. While these documents are still only in draft format, we have made them available to prospective buyers of the Ecovillage commercial lots so they can be reviewed at leisure over the holiday period to help inform decision-making. We will complete the sales contract and Strata Bylaws for the commercial lots early in the new year, at which time we will be able to start transacting on these commercial lots.

Popular Short Stay Lots (3C) ready in January

For those still dreaming about an Ecovillage holiday home, you’d better get in quick and reserve a lot in 3C, as these Short Stay / Residential lots with beautiful, bucolic views are being snapped up fast!

Local Development Plans for Short Stay lots in 3C are now available for download on the Document Library. We will finish the Strata Bylaws and sales contract in January 2022 when the sales office reopens and send them out to prospective buyers to begin the sales process.

If you have reserved one of these lots and need a loan to purchase the property, please ensure you obtain finance pre-approval from your lending institution so that when we are ready to sign sales contracts in the new year, there will be no delay.

Agricultural Lots (3D) generating plenty of interest

The sales plan for the northern agricultural lots has now been published on the website. Eight of these 16 agricultural lots have already been nominally reserved, before they’ve even been priced. First, we need to define the provisions of the Special Use zone allowed on these agricultural lots. We’re working with a planning consultant to submit this documentation to the Shire soon and expect a response from the Shire early in the new year. Following that, we will advertise pricing, complete the drafting of Strata Bylaws, sales contracts and Local Development Plans before issuing to prospective buyers.
