Our Commercial Spaces
Commercial Lots
Ecovillage commercial lots that front either Bussell Highway or Wolghine Avenue, the main entry to the Ecovillage. Approximately 1,000 sqm in size and ideal for businesses that benefit from passing traffic and tourism. Zoning allows for combined residential and commercial development.
Village Square Mixed Use
Facing the Village Square, these commercial lots are designed to allow a home upstairs and a shopfront, consultancy rooms or office downstairs. Open for development Expressions of Interest.
Organic Vineyard
The established 6 ha Foxcliffe vineyard, developed organically in 1998 by Cape Mentelle wines, can produce around 20,000 bottles of premium organic (certified by NAASA) wine annually. It has the potential for residents and tourists to purchase wine directly from an on-site cellar door, or through the Ecovillage tavern, and future cafes and restaurants in the Ecovillage.
Village Tavern
A core community hub with a prominent north facing position. The Tavern site is conveniently located between the nature playground, community centre and sports oval.
Backpackers Accommodation
Located prominent at the entrance to the Village Square and close to the Tavern, this site will offer budget-conscious short stay accommodation with hang out spaces.
Tourism Accommodation
A dedicated strata cluster of 12 tourism cottages that give visitors a taste of authentic Ecovillage life.
Food Hub
A collective space for organic growers to wholesale, retail, process, and value add their fresh food produce. It will provide a place for Ecovillage residents, locals and tourists to buy fresh organic produce with zero food miles and without the packaging and mark-up of supermarket fruit and vegetables.
Creative Hub
A connected, collective workspace, which will nurture creative enterprises, artistic projects, and sustainable technology and services within the Ecovillage. Creative professionals, small businesses and artists can lease or own offices / studios.
