The Big Picture
Here are some Ecovillage statistics to ponder:
- For Stages 1 through to 5B (excluding 3E, 4E & commercial lots), we have a total of 284 residential lots.
- Currently 140 of these (50%) are now occupied
- 12% are under construction, and
- 38% are vacant lots.
- Of the remaining vacant lots, 40% have completed design approvals.
Mike and I are constantly thrilled to take a walk through the Ecovillage and see all the thriving gardens, fruitful orchards (hello stonefruit!), neighbourly collaborations and happy kids running around.
With 40% of the vacant lots set to commence building in the new year, we might just see our 500th resident move in soon enough!
