The Witchcliffe Ecovillage is one of the world's most sustainable residential communities and it's right here in WA's magnificent South West. We have spent more than 15 years working to make this unique project the most sustainable, innovative and beautiful place where residents will live in a resilient and supportive community in harmony with the environment. We're thrilled you're interested in exploring the potential for living or investing in the Ecovillage and we're looking forward to giving you a guided site tour and answering your questions.

Friday afternoon at the Ecovillage

We welcome prospective buyers to join us for this Friday Tour.

The entire Ecovillage is open to the public so you are also welcome do a self-guided tour at your leisure or go back after the tour for a closer look at a particular lot. You can pick up an Ecovillage masterplan and a list of available properties from us in the sales office ( or from the eastern alcove of the Community Centre if we are closed.) Stroll through the beautifully landscaped Wolghine Square and check out the sustainable residential architecture in Stages 1-3 where there are plenty of beautiful homes already completed and under construction. 

Private community gardens in Clusters 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B are completed and accessible, but please be mindful that residents are now living here and this is their home. So please stay on the footpaths (public easement) and do not take pictures or venture into cluster garden areas or homes unless invited. If you are off the path inside a cluster, then you are on private property.

Please meet Clare and Michelle at the Ecovillage Sales Office, which is in our beautiful new Ecovillage Community Centre at 54 Mardo Drive. Turn into Wolghine Avenue off Bussell Hwy, turn left at the roundabout onto Kulbardi Way, then right onto Mardo Drive where you will find us at the end of the street. Look for the three pitched roofs in front of the playing field. Plenty of parking is available behind the office.

We will give you a short, informal presentation and then we'll walk out to one of the developed clusters, and/or do a drive to Stages 4-5 from there. Do yourself (and us) a favour and make sure you've watched the recently updated Witchcliffe Ecovillage film 2.0 before you come so you can make the most of your visit. There's just not enough time to cover every aspect of this unique and complex project, but we look forward to answering all your Ecovillage questions and showing you our beautiful development.

And finally! The Ecovillage (and the whole of Witchcliffe) is designated by the Shire to be a cat free environment, so if this is a dealbreaker for you, we want you to know before you plan a visit. Dogs are welcome in the Ecovillage but must be well behaved and on their leads at all times--if you want to bring your dog on a guided tour, please check with us first.

Before you book in for a guided site tour, we ask that you watch the Witchcliffe Ecovillage Film 2.0 first. Showcasing the magnificent Witchcliffe Ecovillage in all its abundant glory, the film is a 42-minute exploration of the project wrapped up in an inspirational cinematic experience. It allows people from all over the world to "see" the Ecovillage and gain an in-depth understanding of its incredible sustainability features. Not only is the film most likely to answer many of your questions, it will hopefully align you with our thinking and get you excited about the prospect of living in our community. We encourage you to take notes of any questions you think of while watching it, which you can then ask us at the site tour.
