Chad Elton

Senior Landscape Architect

Chad brings more than 16 years experience as a Landscape Architect to the project and a wealth of knowledge in the landscape and land development industries both locally and interstate. Having grown up in Margaret River, Chad knows the area intimately and is inspired to maintain and enhance the sense of place and natural aesthetic offered with the unique country lifestyle. Chad completed the Landscape Architecture Degree at the University of Western Australia and then ventured over east to gain experience working for both local government and private industry.

Returning to Margaret River in 2007, he has since worked a variety of large community infrastructure projects and private land developments managing the South West Office for Emerge Associates. Projects such as Vasse, Dunsborough Lakes, the Busselton Foreshore and Bunbury Waterfront and various playgrounds within the region have provided great opportunity and variety over the past 14 years. Also as a registered landscape architect with the Australian institute of Landscape Architects he maintains an active role within the industry.

Landscape Architecture has enabled Chad to enjoy all that the Margaret River region has to offer while progressing career aspirations. A keen surfer, fisher and general adventurer you will find him at the beach or in the ocean until the wind comes in, then enjoying one of the many local wineries and breweries. He has also recently designed and overseen construction of his first home in town which keeps him busy in the gardens with any spare time.”
